(Maui) – The Maui County Volunteer Center today announced it will host a free workshop and panel discussion titled “Volunteer Management 101” on Friday, May 23. The event is being co-hosted by Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc. (MEO) and will be led by two experienced members of the Network of Volunteer Leaders (NOVL), Joan Naguwa and Paul Belanger.
The workshop will be held from 10 a.m. – noon at MEO’s Classroom #2, located at the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Family Center at 99 Mahalani Street in Wailuku.
Designed for new to highly experienced volunteer leaders, this workshop will offer participants the chance to network with other volunteer leaders in the local community and learn useful tactics to successfully run their own volunteer programs.
