(KĀNE‘OHE)– Gallery ‘Iolani presents a new exhibit showcasing student artwork from Windward Community College. Art classes at WCC are offered in ceramics, color theory, drawing, design, fiber arts, gallery design and management, painting, photography, screen printing, sculpture, and Hawaiian woodcarving. In addition, Atelier Hawai‘i, a six-week intensive program of classical realism techniques in drawing and painting in the tradition of the European Masters is offered in summer.
About Gallery ‘Iolani Gallery ‘Iolani celebrates 23 years of exhibitions at Windward Community College and is recognized as one of the finest exhibition sites in the state of Hawai‘i, showing work from local, national and international venues. The gallery also serves as a classroom for students studying gallery design and management at Windward Community College. Gallery ‘Iolani is located adjacent to Palikū Theatre in the Hale Pālanakila complex.
