9:30 a.m. Post-Walk concert begins: Kalaeloa and Hawaiian Slice perform at finish line
WHERE: Begins at Ala Moana Beach Park’s McCoy Pavilion. The six-mile Walk, which includes 19 industry sponsored checkpoints, tours through Waikiki, along the Ala Wai Canal, through Royal Hawaiian Avenue to the Waikiki Beach Walk on Lewers Street and ends back at Ala Moana Beach Park.

WHY: To raise money for Hawaii’s non-profit organizations
Hawaii residents and visitors are invited to join in on food, fun and entertainment to help raise funds for Hawaii’s local charities at the annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk.
Sponsored by the Hawai‘i Lodging & Tourism Association (HLTA), the Charity Walk is one of Hawaii’s largest fundraisers, taking place on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai and the Big Island.
Last year, more than 10,900 walkers participated to raise $1,155,100 for more than 200 local charities. Since its inception in 1978, the Charity Walk has raised close to $23 million.
