(LĪHU‘E) – In observance of Good Friday, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on April 19, along with all refuse transfer stations and the Kekaha Landfill.
In addition, all of the neighborhood centers will be closed on the holiday. The Kapa‘a swimming pool will also be closed, and will resume normal hours on Saturday, April 20.
The Puhi Metals Recycling Center and the Reynolds Recycling facility in Kapahi will remain open, all other HI5 redemption centers will be closed. Residential refuse pick-up will continue as normal. The Kaua‘i Community Recycling Services (KCRS) site operated in Kōloa will also be closed on Easter Sunday.
The Sunshine Market at Vidinha Stadium will be open on the holiday.
The Kaua‘i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on the holiday.
Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, April 22.
