Informational flyers are provided in both English and Spanish throughout the county. Plus, local elementary school students participate in the Oily Cat mascot design competition. Elementary school students are invited to draw their rendition of the Oily Cat mascot. The winning drawing is featured on advertisements for the county’s Household Hazardous Waste programs.
“We are extremely proud of our Household Hazardous Waste team and the innovation they continue to show in service to the residents of San Bernardino County,” said Fire Marshal Mike Horton. “Our 14 permanent collection sites throughout the county help residents safely dispose of waste that would otherwise pollute landfills and contaminate water supplies.
