(Kauai)– County officials would like to inform Wastewater Management Division customers that a new online sewer payment platform is now available at https://pay.ehawaii.gov/kauai.
The new platform provides a better customer experience when paying sewer bills online and allows for more efficient account administration. The platform allows customers to either pay as a guest or as a logged-in user. Those who log in to make payments can also view their account and payment history. In addition, the platform allows Division staff to upload billing files and retrieve payment files on demand. Online payments include a $2.50 convenience fee plus a 2.2% credit card or $1 eCheck fee, per transaction. For customers making online payments, the County is temporarily waiving these fees until Nov. 30, 2020.
The new platform was created by NIC Hawaii (the official internet portal manager of eHawaii.gov), working with the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Works, Wastewater Management Division.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the public is highly encouraged to submit payments via this online service to reduce foot traffic at the Kapule Building at the Līhu‘e Civic Center. For customers who prefer to pay their sewer bill by mail or by dropping off a sealed envelope containing their check and remittance in the drop box located on the right-hand side of the Department of Motor Vehicles’ entrance, please make checks payable to the Director of Finance.
Anyone with questions may contact the Department of Public Works, Wastewater Management Division at 808-241-4082, or via email at pwww@kauai.gov.
