(HONOLULU) – Mayor Rick Blangiardi has requested that Honolulu Hale be lit in the colors green and white from sundown on Monday, July 18 through sunrise on Friday, July 22 to celebrate Catholic Charities Hawai‘i’s (CCH) 75thAnniversary. In addition to lighting the Hale, Mayor Blangiardi will be presenting a proclamation to the organization proclaiming July 2022 to be Catholic Charities Hawai‘i Month in the City and County of Honolulu in recognition of the non-profit’s many services and programs for the people of Hawai‘i.
“A warm mahalo to all of the dedicated men and women at Catholic Charities Hawai’i,” said Mayor Blangiardi. “They were great strategic partners in helping the City and County of Honolulu stand up our rent and utility relief program. Their tireless dedication to our kūpuna and keiki by providing services all year long shows CCH’s commitment to our community during the pandemic and beyond. I hope everyone will join us as we celebrate this incredible organization as it marks 75 years of serving Hawai‘i’s people.”
