(HONOLULU) – Mayor Rick Blangiardi announced that WorkHawaii will be holding their next major hiring event on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dole Cannery. Honolulu residents seeking employment may visit booths from the following employers at that event:

- Dada Spa Salon & Café
- Giovanni Pastrami
- Gyotaku Japanese Restaurant

- Honolulu Beerworks
- Island Bin Cleaners
- Kilauea Pest Control
- KYD, Inc
- Rainbow Drive In – Kalihi
- REI Food Service, LLC dba
- Ruby Tuesday
- ShoreFyre/Skybox
- State of Hawaii
The restaurant industry is strongly represented in this month’s hiring event. Among other positions, they are hiring line cooks, dishwashers, servers, bussers, food runners, hosts/hostesses, managers, kitchen managers, general managers, accounting, and human resources.
Other industries are also represented, who will be hiring warehouse positions, drivers, office staff, accounting, human resources, warehouse managers, inventory control, office managers, receptionists, will call clerks, pharmacists, case managers and supervisors.
In addition to hosting employers for these hiring events, WorkHawaii will provide a Computer Center in a suite adjacent to the food court on the first floor. These computers will be available for job seekers to submit their on-line applications to the employers present at the event. WorkHawaii staff will be onsite review and provide professional feedback on resumés. Parking is available for job seekers at a $3 flat parking rate in the Dole Parking Structure above the Regal Theatres.
A DJ from iHeart Radio will be present for the events to play music, make important announcements and attract attention to the event. They will be located at the Costco-side entrance to Dole Cannery.
