(HONOLULU)–The Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii – Charles C. Spalding Clubhouse will be hosting a Rededication to celebrate recent renovations and a new elementary program in the brand-new “Discovery Zone” on Tuesday January 3rd, 2012. Over the past six months, updates have been made on the building to improve the facility and thus improve the Club’s ability to serve its 1,000-plus youth members. The celebration will begin with a blessing at 4:30pm followed by an open house where parents, children, and community members can tour the Club to see all of the updates and positive changes. An Ohana night program will immediately follow the open house with musical performances by the Winter Day Camp youth members and the debut of the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii commercial segment made by Club youth with Media Mentor Franz Schmutzer.
