(Kauai)- – The Department of Water (DOW) has cancelled the water outage for Kôloa that was scheduled on Thursday, Feb. 21, and will reschedule it for next month.
A notice will be sent out when a new date has been selected.
Tomorrow’s shutdown would have allowed DOW’s contractor Pacific Trenchless to tie into the existing system, but preliminary tests indicate that adjustments need to be made before the connection can occur.
The Department of Water apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks the public for their patience as the Department continues to make improvements to its aging infrastructure.
