(Honolulu)—The long awaited second “flavor tripping party” sponsored by C.H.E.F.S. Hawaii & Miracle Berry Hawaii, Inc. will take place next Wednesday March 7th at THE STANDARD, Honolulu’s hottest social and night club.
This taste extravaganza, reviewed by past attendees as a “Tour De Sweet”, is sure to be one of the island’s best-attended events attracting professionals and VIP’s in a relaxing atmosphere dominated by amazing food and music.
“Attendees should get ready for a ‘sweet ride’,” C.H.E.F.S. Hawaii organizer Kyle Shimoda told Hawaiiahe.com. “Guests will be transported into a world of taste and fun thanks to the use of the miracle berry we will be featuring on Wednesday night,” Shimoda added.
Attendees will be treated to taste an array of delicious foods, including a “flavor tripping” session with a little known “miracle berry”.
The miracle berry or synsepalum dulcificum is a plant with a berry that, when eaten, causes sour foods (such as lemons and limes) subsequently consumed to taste sweet.
This effect lasts until the protein is washed away by saliva up to about 60 minutes.
During this event guests will not believe how sweet sour foods taste. Past guests have been quoted as not ever experiencing such a fun food event.
“Not only will the food be great and fun, we are very thankful to THE STANDARD for allowing us to host this charity event in their amazing, state-of-the-art venue. Guests are guaranteed a wonderful night of great food and music,” said Shimoda.
Also featuring in this event DJ Migz, from Los Angeles and now living in Kaneohe, will be behind the decks playing lounge and house music to compliment the evening.
A veteran of music festivals, DJ Migz said he is honored to play at this great event. “I first became aware of C.H.E.F.S. Hawaii through my friendship with Kyle Shimoda and when I was asked to DJ this event, I was very excited because it involves a great cause,” DJ Migz said.
THE STANDARD , the sexy, modern venue features a menu of exotic custom cocktails in a sophisticated atmosphere.
