(Honolulu)– Mayor Rick Blangiardi announced that the Department of Community Services, WorkHawaiʻi Division has partnered with the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System to provide career development services and program information access to ten participating libraries since February, 2024.
Each month, WorkHawaiʻi staff will be present at the following libraries:
- ‘Aiea – First Wednesday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Kahuku – First Monday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Kaimukī – First Tuesday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Kalihi-Pālama – Second Saturday, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- McCully-Mō‘ili‘ili – Third Tuesday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Nānākuli – First Wednesday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Pearl City – Second Wednesday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Wahiawā – Second Tuesday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Wai‘anae – First Monday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Waimānalo – First Wednesday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
WorkHawaiʻi’s ongoing partnership with the Hawaiʻi State Public Library System is the latest in a series of initiatives to increase accessibility to valuable resources for members of the public who are unable to commute to the division office in Iwilei. With a dedication to compassion, innovation, and responsiveness, the WorkHawaiʻi team strives to eliminate as many barriers as possible to financial stability and self sufficiency for the people of Oʻahu.

This initiative aims to touch the lives of many community members, making essential resources accessible and fostering growth and success for all.”
