(LĪHU‘E) – Due to the expected severe weather conditions this week, all County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 23 and Friday, Aug. 24.
Additionally, Mayor Bernard P. Carvalho Jr. has granted administrative leave for non-essential County of Kaua‘i employees on Thursday, Aug. 23 and Friday, Aug. 24.
Non-essential workers affected by the office closures should not report to work, and will be granted administrative leave.
However, unless otherwise determined, employees who are designated by their Department Heads must report to work due to their services being required.
