(Kauai) – The Agency on Elderly Affairs (AEA) is still accepting nominations for the 2013 Outstanding Male and Female Older American awards. The submittal deadline is Thursday, Feb. 28.
Nomination forms are available Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the AEA office located at the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building, suite 330.
The program is designed to recognize older adults age 65 and older that have made exceptional contributions to their communities.
All nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony in May, in recognition of May being Older Americans Month. Kaua’i’s awardees will also be announced at that event.
