(Oahu)– Learn how the Affordable Care Act will affect your business.
WHAT: Health Care Reform Workshops
In a year when every business needs to be actively engaged in their health care decision-making, Kaiser Permanente is offering free workshops to educate Hawaii businesses on how their employees will be affected by the Affordable Care Act. Business representatives can choose to attend a free breakfast session, from 8 – 10 a.m., or a free lunch session, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Participants in the workshops will cover the following topics:
- Classifying your business under the Affordable Care Act
- Applying for tax credit opportunities
- Learning the new method of rating and its effects on premiums and billing
- Complying with the Affordable Care Act to avoid fines and audits
- Understanding both small and large business responsibilities under the law
