(Hawaii)– For those with an entrepreneurial spirit and an eye on a career in creative media, join us for the 2nd annual Ko‘olau Creative Media Conference at Windward Community College on Thursday, May 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The conference will feature speakers and breakout sessions for career-focused creative media artists and students interested in pursuing creative filmmaking, documentary filmmaking, video game design and related fields. FREE and open to the public.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Entrepreneurial Paths in Creative Media’ highlighting those who have carved their own careers in creative media here in Hawai‘i. The goal of the event is to bring current and prospective students, community and local creative media professionals together to connect them with opportunities to network and gain career-oriented training. Windward Community College will also debut its upcoming Academic Subject Certificate in Creative Media this fall to demonstrate the college’s commitment to growing the local creative media industry.
