(KAKA‘AKO) – The excitement is building for the SALT at Our Kaka‘ako Holiday Brick Party happening on Sunday, December 3, 2017. The event is open to all ages starting at 10 a.m., as the Hawaii LEGO Users Group returns for a day full of holiday themed block building, displays, a building contest and more!
Colorful holiday exhibits by LEGO enthusiasts will be on display, with master builders on hand to share tips and tricks. The Hawaii LEGO Users Group will also bring back its challenging “fire walk” over bricks for prizes. Toddlers can play with LEGO DUPLO bricks, which are twice the size of ordinary blocks.
The event is free and pet-friendly. Families are welcome and are encouraged to bring along their imagination with the holidays in mind.
“We are happy to welcome back the Hawaii LEGO Users Group to SALT at Our Kakaʻako, as their last event brought smiles to many happy children,” said Jimmy Ventura, General Manager of SALT at Our Kakaʻako.
The Hawaii LEGO Users Group was founded in 2012. The group is comprised of builders, collectors and fans dedicated to spreading the joy of plastic brick-building. This is the group’s second event at SALT at Our Kakaʻako.
“We love how the community embraces SALT at Our Kakaʻako and had so much fun meeting people of all ages who still enjoy playing and building with LEGO,” said Roy Gal, co-founder of the Hawaii LEGO Users Group. “We look forward to seeing their holiday creations.”
The SALT at Our Kakaʻako Holiday Brick Party continues the fun and exciting events at Honolulu’s leading urban retail and dining destination. The community is also welcome to the monthly Hawaiian cultural showcase Pa‘akai Marketplace, the popular SALT Bar Crawl, and the upcoming holiday shopping experience, A Pinch of SALT on Dec. 2nd.
