Dr. Alan Suyama

(Honolulu) – The Queen’s Medical Center (QMC) has announced the appointment of Alan T. Suyama, MD, as its Medical Director of Anesthesia Services. Dr. Suyama is responsible for planning, directing and supervising all anesthesia and sedation services throughout The Queen’s Medical Center.
Previously he served as the Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology at The Queen’s Medical Center for six years.
In addition to his appointment, he currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Dr. Suyama received his medical degree from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
