(Honolulu) — Vote for the Ala Moana Regional Park and help the City win $100,000 and the title of “America’s favorite park.” The grant will be used to restore, rebuild, or enhance activity areas in park. The park with the most votes receives a $100,000 recreation grant from the Coca-Cola Live Positively initiative.
There are several ways to cast votes:
- Unlimited single votes can be cast at www.Livepositively.com/parks. Search “Ala Moana Regional Park,” and vote. The direct link is: http://m.livepositively.com/park_details.jsp?parkId=4f3c0826e4b036beb9454cff
- Generate 100 votes at a time by first downloading Foursquare to your mobile device, then visiting LivePositively.com/parks to link it to the website. Foursquare mobile application allows users to post their location at a venue (“check-in”). If you are near or at Ala Moana Regional Park, “check-ins” at this location are possible every 15 minutes.
- On Facebook, go to https://www.facebook.com/LivePonoHawaii and follow the instructions for 100 votes.
