(Oahu)– Two finalists have been identified for the position of Director, Hawai‘i Institute of Marine Biology, (HIMB) at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. The two are scheduled to participate over a two-day period of visits that covers department discussions; meetings with senior administrators, faculty, staff, students, and internal and external constituents; and a public presentation.
Campus and community members, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend.
The campus visits of the two candidates have been scheduled as follows:
Dr. Phil Taylor, visiting March 6 – 7
Executive Director, Research Advancement and Federal Relations University of Southern California Public Presentations: March 6, 10:30 a.m.; Hawai‘i Institute of Marine Biology Leading a Center of Excellence: Building and Conveying Knowledge about Tropical Marine Ecosystems. March 7, 3:00 p.m.; University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Marine Sciences Building (MSB) 114 Leading a Center of Excellence: Building and Conveying Knowledge about Tropical Marine Ecosystems.
