(Oahu)– Kapi’olani Community College announces a presentation by award-winning feature animation visual effect artist Yancy Lindquist on Tuesday, March 3, at 7-9 p.m. at Kapi’olani CC, Ohia 118. Thanks to the generous donation of The Wallis Foundation, the lecture is free and open to the public.
Yancy has created visual effects for DreamWorks Animation for 11 years. He supervised Rise of the Guardians and worked on Megamind, Shrek Forever After, Monsters vs. Aliens, Flushed Away, Shark Tale, Sinbad:Legend of the Seven Seas, Spirit:Stallion of the Cimarron, and The Road to El Dorado. He was awarded the Annie Award the the effects work on Spirit and was nominated for a Visual Effects Society (VES) award for his work on Shrek Forever After.
