(Honolulu) – The Plaza Assisted Living (“The Plaza”), Hawaii’s largest provider of senior assisted living solutions, is pleased to announce the hiring of Ann Batterman to the position of Resident Relations Manager for its newest senior community, The Plaza at Waikiki – scheduled to open in the fall of 2015.
As Resident Relations Manager of The Plaza at Waikiki, Ms. Batterman will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with prospective residents and their family members, and assisting them throughout the admission process.
A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Ann Batterman also brings over 15 years of customer service and sales experience in a variety of industries.
Inspired by her personal experiences as a senior caregiver and healthcare advocate, Batterman has also earned a Certified Nursing Assistant credential and was trained as a volunteer with St. Francis Hospice.
The Plaza at Waikiki will accommodate up to 170 residents, offering a variety of programs, including Independent and Assisted Living, Memory Care (for residents suffering from Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia), and a short‐term Respite Care option. Deposits are currently being accepted, and doors are scheduled to open in the fall of 2015.
