(Oahu)– Come out for an exciting evening of local short films, as UH Mānoa Academy for Creative Media student and faculty films will be screened at the Hawaiʻi Theatre in downtown Honolulu on Friday, September 2, as part of the Ohina Short Film Showcase.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the screening to begin at 7 p.m.
The UHM ACM student films are B-Movie, Millie 94 and Aloha Vegas, and the collaborative faculty film is titled Mirage.
Animation fans: Stay tuned for an upcoming announcement of a second Ohina event devoted to local animated short films.
ACM Mānoa is the flagship ACM program located on the campus of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Each year, dozens of films are completed in narrative, documentary, animation and experimental formats.
