(Honolulu) –The 2nd Annual Mele Kalikimaka Marketplace a one-stop local holiday shop catering to visitors and residents who are looking for holiday gifts and family activities. The event will be held on December 10-11, 2016 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall. The 2-day event is anticipated to be Hawaii’s premier local holiday shopping emporium, showcasing food products, gifts, books, apparel, jewelry, crafts and other consumer goods. The event will feature a local gourmet gift section, many prepackaged gift baskets, holiday pop up shops, year-end inventory specials from manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and more. Adding to the attraction will be a Gingerbread Workshop benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii as well as an entertainment and cooking demonstration stage and fun make and take crafts by Ben Franklin.
The Gingerbread Workshop is a new holiday activity sure to be a holiday tradition. Check out the Gingerbread Workshop where you can decorate a cookie or a house. Learn the history of gingerbread and gather for story time reading of the Gingerbread Man Book. There will also be gingerbread crafts and activities and of course see Santa and Rudolf. See interesting Gingerbread displays and lots of other fun gingerbread ideas.

Admission tickets are $4 for Adults, $3 Seniors 60+, Students, Military (ID required for all), and Children 12 years and under free with a paid adult. The event will be held at the Neal S.
