(HONOLULU) — Dream Weekend Hawaii is launching their brand with Hawaii’s first triple-headliner festival at the iconic Aloha Stadium, on Dec. 27. Seasoned event promoters, Jonathan “Jonny” Mack and Hawaii born Mike Galmiche, are poised and ready to deliver an amazing show featuring Sublime with Rome, Cardi B and Snoop Dogg.
Artists Cardi B and Snoop Dogg have shared their excitement in the way Hawaii is embracing their upcoming performances. So much so, that Snoop Dogg — who initially planned for a DJ set — has changed his entire performance to include a full, live band and entourage, according to Mack and Galmiche.
With the anticipation of 25,000 concert goers, Mack and Galmiche want to encourage all ticket holders to acquire as much pertinent event information to ensure a great concert experience. For the latest and most up to date concert event information, visit the official Aloha Stadium website at http://alohastadium.hawaii.gov, under Upcoming Events.
The promotion team of Mack and Galmiche, along with Reed Entertainment, are launching the Dream Weekend Hawaii brand and will begin adding more events to their roster throughout the year. With a limited number of large-scale event promoters in Honolulu, particularly with local roots, they hope to fill a void left by the legendary concert and entertainment icon Tom Moffatt.
New data suggests that 75 percent of millennials and 59 percent of baby boomers value experiences over possessions and Mack and Galmiche will offer more unique and experiential event opportunities, including multi-day festivals bringing together international entertainment alongside local musicians, attractions and artisans. They will continue to present events of all scales for a wide range of audiences, including shows like Hallowbaloo Street Festival and the annual New Year’s Eve “Party of the Year.”
Tickets are available online at Ticketmaster.com or at Aloha Stadium Box Office.
