(Oahu)– On Saturday, May 28, 2022, , the Honolulu Police Department’s (HPD) District 2 held a clean-up day in Mililani, in coordination with the City’s Mālama O Ka ‘Āina community volunteer program, which is administered by the Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM), Division of Road Maintenance (DRM). The work will be performed in the lower Mililani area along Meheula Parkway, starting from Mililani Marketplace and working toward Kamehameha Highway.
For this project, HPD has partnered with the Mililani Lions Club and other members of the community, who will pick up litter along sidewalks and roads, and paint over graffiti on traffic control boxes. Additional valuable support is being provided by the Mililani Marketplace and DFM’s Storm Water Quality Division. The City is grateful to HPD and all the volunteers for helping to make the Mililani community a safer and nicer place for everyone that visits, works, and lives in the area.
