(HONOLULU) – Mayor Rick Blangiardi today announced that the Department of Community Services, WorkHawaii Division will be hosting its last Hiring Event of the year on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall.
Up to 150 employers, including government offices, for-profit businesses, and non-profit organizations, are invited to attend the Hiring Event. Additionally, WorkHawaii will provide a Resource Center onsite, with laptops and printers available for jobseekers to edit or print their resumes for employers and fill out digital job applications. The event is free for job seekers and employers, with $8 public parking at the Blaisdell Center.

Before the event, job seekers are encouraged to sign up for a free workshop with the WorkHawaii Division. Topics covered include applying for positions with the City & County of Honolulu, resume writing, and interview skills. Two sessions are offered at the WorkHawaii office in the Dole Cannery Office Building, Suite 700, on Thursday, November 2, 2023. Jobseekers can attend either the morning session from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. or the afternoon session from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. with the option to attend in-person or virtually.
