(LÎHU‘E)– – In observance of President’s Day, County of Kaua‘i offices along with the Kekaha Landfill, all refuse transfer stations, Puhi Metals Recycling Center and the Kaua’i Resource Center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 18.
In addition, the Kaua‘i Bus will be running on a reduced schedule on Monday, Feb. 18.
The HI-5 redemption centers located at the Arzadon Industrial Center in Kapa‘a and Kaua’i Resource Center in Lîhu’e will be closed.
The HI-5 redemption centers in Nâwiliwili near the old Hale Kaua’i and in Kapahi behind Menehune Food Mart will be open.
Residential refuse pick-up will not be affected by the holiday and will continue as scheduled.
Since the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools are normally closed on Mondays, they will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 19 in observance of President’s Day.
Normal business hours for county offices and services except for the swimming pools will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
