(LĪHU‘E)- – Nominations are still being accepted by the Agency on Elderly Affairs (AEA) for the Outstanding Male and Female Older American awards. The submittal deadline is Thursday, Feb. 28.
Nomination forms are available Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the AEA office located at the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building, suite 330.
All nominees will be honored at a luncheon in May, and the awardees will also be announced at the event.
The program is designed to recognize older adults age 65 and older that have made exceptional contributions to their communities.
