WHAT: Child Car Seat and Booster Seat Inspections
Traffic crashes are the leading cause of death for children over one year of age. Child passenger restraints can reduce deaths by as much as 71 percent for infants and 54 percent for toddlers, but up to 80 percent are not installed or used correctly. Is your child’s car or booster seat installed properly? Kaiser Permanente wants to be sure your child is safe. Child Passenger Safety Technicians certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will be on-site checking all child car and booster seats for FREE, by appointment only. Pre-registration is required, please call 432-2260 to attend. Note: Install your child’s car seat before your appointment and bring your car manual and car seat instructions.
