(Honolulu) – The Queen’s Medical Center has announced that Lois Han, RN, CCRN, has been named 2012 Employee of the Year. Han is a Charge Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit in Queen Emma Tower 4C. She has been a Queen’s nurse for 20 years.
The Queen’s Employee of the Year is chosen from 12 Employees of the Month who represent a staff of over 3,500.
Han was awarded a personally engraved koa box, free reserved parking for a year and a $2,000 travel voucher or the same amount in savings bonds. Her name will also be engraved on a perpetual plaque. Han also received $2,000 from a fund established by Art Ushijima, President of The Queen’s Medical Center, in honor of his parents, James and Kay Ushijima.
Han resides in Honolulu.
