(Honolulu)–Duracell has donated $50,000 to the Kapi‘olani Children’s Miracle Network (KCMN) in support life-giving care at Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children, Hawai‘i’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
Duracell is a longtime supporter of KCMN in Hawaii with donations totaling $485,000 to date in support of the hospital’s ongoing areas of highest need; and of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide with donations topping $1.5 million to date.
“We are honored to support the important mission of Hawaii’s only full-service pediatric specialty hospital,” Rod Roler of Duracell said. “We are a worldwide company with deep ties in Hawai‘i, and we are particularly proud that 100 percent of the funds stay here in the state to help local kids through Kapi‘olani Children’s Miracle Network.”
