(Maui)– The Maui Fire Department is announcing the promotion of two firefighters this month, one of them to the rank of captain.
Firefighter III G. Nelson Saribay, Jr. is a 17 year veteran who was recently stationed at the Kula Fire Station for the past three years. After his promotion to captain on January 1, 2012 Saribay was assigned to the Hoolehua Fire station on Molokai.
Also promoted was firefighter Reza Azman to Firefighter III. Azman has been with the department for nine and half years. His promotion took effect on January 16, 2012 and he has also been assigned to the Hoolehua Fire station on Molokai.
