(Kaneohe)– Mayor Kirk Caldwell announced that the City has restored driver licensing renewal service at the Satellite City Hall located in Windward City Shopping Center.
“Providing this important service at the Windward site is more convenient for many residents and will help decrease waiting times at other locations,” Caldwell said.
Driver license renewals had been discontinued at the Windward City satellite last year due to a staffing shortage and consolidation of some services at other sites. Many residents expressed a preference to restore the service, and the City has responded to their concerns.
Drivers may now renew their licenses or apply for duplicates at the Windward City satellite, located in Windward City Shopping Center at 45-480 Kaneohe Bay Drive, Unit C06. Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Three other satellites in addition to Windward City offer driver license renewals or duplicates: Pearlridge, Fort Street Mall, and Hawaii Kai. Drivers may also obtain new licenses or seek renewals or duplicates at five Driver License Offices: City Square, Wahiawa, Waianae, Kapolei and Koolau.
