(Honolulu)– Sachi Braden, Marcus Merner and Eileen Wacker have been elected to the volunteer board of the Kapi‘olani Health Foundation, which supports the nonprofit Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children.
Sachi Braden (R) is the owner of Sachi Hawaii, a premiere Honolulu real estate firm. Marcus Merner is a managing director with GreenOak Real Estate, a real estate focused principal investing and advisory firm. Eileen Wacker is founder and CEO of ONCEKids, a brand promoting the diversity and richness of Asian cultural themes through print books, e-books and interactive applications.
The Board focuses on supporting all the specialty pediatric and women’s services and programs provided at Kapi‘olani Medical Center, including the Campaign for Hawaii’s Children, the hospital’s largest capital campaign to date. The $30 million campaign kicked off in 2009 to raise funds for new NICU and PICU units and education facilities, Phase 1 of a master plan to renovate and rebuild the hospital. More than $26 million has been raised to date.
