(Honolulu)– Visiting San Francisco-based musician Ron Quesada will be giving a free performance at bambuTwo Cafe + Martini Lounge, Friday, September 20, 7:00 p.m.
Ron marries an ancient Filipino gong instrument called the “kulintang” with modern electronic dance music. Simply mesmerizing! The kulintang is the Filipino version of Indonesia’s gamelan, with a row of tuned and graduated brass gongs played quickly and precisely with wooden beaters.
