(Kailua)- “Snow” is on the radar for Cool Kailua Nights 2013, transforming Kailua Town into a Windward wonderland! The 5th Annual Cool Kailua Nights block party and health awareness fair brings fun for the entire family – with keiki rides, local vendors and artisans, live entertainment, a wine and beer garden, games and giveaways – all for a good cause. All event proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii Windward Clubhouse and Castle Medical Center’s Oncology Clinic.
Thousands of visitors and local residents are expected on the Windward side to experience the event’s newest attraction: Snowland, an Arctic playground featuring 10 tons of real snow. Keiki can enjoy frolicking in the snow, so pack your mittens and get ready for a “Cool” Kailua Night.
Also returning to Cool Kailua Nights is the beloved doggie fashion show featuring tutus, collars, bow ties and other canine couture handmade by local business owners. Entertainment headliners include Kapena, Davey D & Lina Girl, Augie T and other Island artists. The U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific-Hawaii will entertain attendees with a special performance. Food and fashion participants include Boots & Kimo’s, Down to Earth, popular women’s swimwear line San Lorenzo and more.
