(KAPA‘A) – A small portion of the coastal path, Ke Ala Hele Makalae, will be closed to allow for the installation of a new fence at the Kapa‘a swimming pool.
Approximately 185 feet of the path along the Kapa‘a pool will be closed weekdays from Oct. 21 to Oct. 28 while the fence work is being done. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The path will be completely open that weekend.
The fence installation is part of the ongoing renovation to the Kapa‘a swimming pool.
The county thanks the public for its understanding while improvements are being made to the Kapa‘a facility.
