(Oahu)– There are some who believe Brasserie Du Vin is one of Honolulu’s most romantic restaurants. And judging by the number of first-dates, proposals, weddings, and anniversaries celebrated at Brasserie Du Vin, there could be more than a grain of truth to that! This year, romantics have a comfortable 3-day window to celebrate their love. Brasserie Du Vin is offering a special menu February 13, 14 and 15. A limited selection of regular dinner menu items – from soups and salads to entrees and desserts – will be available ala carte. In addition, Chef Marco Elder is cooking up a special 3-course prix fixe dinner ($70 per person). Guest may choose a dish from each category:
Appetizer
Big Eye Tuna Tartar or Roasted Bone Marrow
Entrée
Poached Atlantic Lobster Tail, Pan-Seared Duck Breast, or Grilled Beef Tenderloin,
Dessert
Dark Chocolate-Cherry Cheese Cake or Passion Fruit Panna Cotta
A wine pairing option is available with the prix fixe dinner, as are special prices for Perrier Jouet Champagne ($75 for the bottle or $15 by the glass).
Dinner is available starting at 6:00 p.m. Reservations, which are strongly suggested, can be made by calling 809-545-1115. Valet parking available one block away at 1144 Bethel Street for just $8 (plus gratuity) for the night.
