(Honolulu)– Carlsmith Ball has elected three new partners, effective immediately. Vincent C. Camacho, Hagatna, Guam; Lindsay N. McAneeley, Honolulu, Hawaii; and Johnny Q. Tran, Los Angeles, California, have joined the firm’s partnership ranks. “We’re delighted to recognize Vince, Lindsay and Johnny as new partners,” said Karl Kobayashi, chair of Carlsmith Ball. “Their addition further enhances our firm’s reputation as a leader in the Pacific. Camacho’s practice is broad in scope, reflecting the needs of the firm’s Guam clients. His work includes administrative law; banking and finance matters; corporate and business issues; real estate and land use; litigation; government procurement; and pension and profit sharing. He serves on several non-profit boards serving Guam’s most needy children and promoting Guam’s aspiring artists. Camacho received his J.D. from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law. He has an M.B.A. from the University of Guam and he received his B.S. from San Diego State University.

McAneeley’s practice focuses on complex commercial, environmental, and intellectual property litigation. She represents parties in all aspects of litigation, including mediation, arbitration and appeals, with particular experience in contract and business disputes, real property matters, environmental compliance, historic preservation, toxic tort and products liability claims, and enforcement of copyright and trademark rights. Most recently, McAneeley assisted with the successful defense of state and federal environmental challenges to a high-profile, federally funded transportation project; successfully represented a major shipping company in arbitration of contract claims resulting in a substantial award for the firm’s client; and successfully prosecuted a multimillion dollar embezzlement and fraud claim. McAneeley is admitted to practice before the Hawaii State Courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law and received her B.S. from the University of British Columbia.
Tran concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, entertainment litigation, and regulatory matters. He also represents a public utility client in negotiating complex power purchase agreements and advises small businesses on formation and governance issues. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Tran received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in Los Angeles and a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
