(HONOLULU) – The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Transportation Services (DTS) invites families to celebrate Halloween with a fun and safe trick-or-treating adventure along Skyline on Sunday, October 26th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families can ride Skyline and visit five stations to collect treats, enjoy a dance party, and groove to music from a live DJ at select stops.
The following Skyline stations will have:
- Kualakaʻi East Kapolei: Candy and treats
- Honouliuli Hoʻopili: Candy, treats, live DJ, music and a free mini pumpkin (must show HOLO card to receive mini pumpkin)
- Pouhala Waipahu Transit Center: Candy and treats
- Hālawa Aloha Stadium: Candy, treats, live DJ and music
- Kahauiki Kalihi Transit Center: Candy, treats, and pop-up tent featuing the HNL Connect team
In addition, an online costume contest will be a part of the festivities. All ages are welcome to enter the contest to win some spooktacular prizes. Participants can post an Instagram photo of their costume on Skyline enjoying the event and tag @HNL.Transit with the hashtag #SkylineCostume to enter.
DTS will be giving away limited-edition Skyline Segment 2 HOLO cards for free during the event. Cards are strictly limited to one per person, while supplies last. Participants are encouraged to follow our social media channels for the latest updates and details.
