(HANALEI) – The Department of Parks and Recreation has scheduled its third community meeting regarding the development of a master plan for the expansion of a popular North Shore beach park.
“Based on feedback from the community we’ve received thus far, we have developed a draft preferred master plan for Black Pot Beach Park,” said Parks and Recreation Director Lenny Rapozo. “I encourage the public to attend this meeting to share their mana‘o about the plan with us.”
The meeting will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., at the Hanalei Elementary School cafeteria:
- Sign In/Register to speak – 6 to 6:30 p.m.
- Welcome/Presentation of draft preferred plan – 6:30 to 7 p.m.
- Questions/Open forum – 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Sign-ups to speak will be on a first-come, first-served basis until all of the slots are filled. Each person will be given a two-minute time limit to speak.
Individuals who do not get a chance to speak will be asked to submit written comments that will be included as part of the meeting record.
Please note that the meeting will end promptly at 8:30 p.m.
