(LĪHU‘E) – In observance of Independence Day, County of Kaua‘i offices will be closed on Friday, July 3, along with the Kapa‘a and Waimea swimming pools and all neighborhood centers.

The Kekaha Landfill, all refuse transfer stations and HI-5 redemption centers, Puhi Metals Recycling Center and the Kaua‘i Resource Center will be closed on Saturday, July 4, in observance of the holiday.

Residential refuse pick-up will continue as scheduled; it will not be affected by the holiday.

The Kaua‘i Bus will observe the holiday on July 3, and will operate on a modified schedule that day. On July 4, the Kaua‘i Bus will be running on a normal Saturday schedule.

Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume on Monday, July 6.
