(LĪHU‘E) – The Kaua‘i Fire Department is announcing a series of community forums will be held March 23 to 26 to gather the public’s input as the department develops its 10-year Strategic Plan.
The forums will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
- March 23 – Līhu‘e Neighborhood Center, 3353 Eono Street;
- March 24 – Kīlauea Neighborhood Center, 4260 Keneke Street;
- March 25 – Kapa‘a Public Library, 4-4164 Kūhiō Highway; and
- March 26 – Hanapēpē Public Library, 4490 Kona Road.
The format of the community forums will be interactive. Attendees will gather in small workgroups of three to five people and share their perspectives on key areas of the Kaua‘i Fire Department, the department’s performance over the past two years, its capacity to deliver on its mission, and future community needs from the department.
