(Kauai) – The public is advised that starting next week a guardrail installation in Kalāheo will require periodic lane closures. The work will be done along Lae Road near the Elua Reservoir and on Wāwae Road between the Kuli and Pu’uwai Road intersections.
The project is expected to begin on Aug. 17 and to be completed by Sept. 11 weather permitting.
Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution, observe all traffic control devices and seek alternate routes to get to their destinations.
