(HONOLULU) – Hawaiian Airlines today announced the appointment of Jill Tokunaga to
senior director – North America sales. In this role, Tokunaga is responsible for managing Hawaiian’s overall sales activities for the U.S. Mainland and Hawaiʻi.
“Jill has a record of innovative, results-driven leadership that will be an asset to Hawaiian’s presence in more than 11 domestic markets,” said Theo Panagiotoulias, senior vice president – global sales and alliances for Hawaiian Airlines. “Jill’s expertise complements our sales force as we look forward to future growth.”
Tokunaga joins Hawaiian with over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the fields of telecommunications, real estate and the gas/energy utilities sector. She most recently served as vice president – sales, marketing and communications for Hawaiʻi Gas, where she successfully executed the company’s re-branding strategy. Previously, Tokunaga held various sales positions with Sprint Nextel and Honolulu Cellular, and also served as data account executive for the Honolulu Board of Realtors.
Tokunaga holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She received the 2012 AMA Award for Marketer of the Year and is the current Board Chair of the YWCA Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership.
