(Honolulu)– Hawaiian Airlines has appointed Patrick Cournoyer to the position of director – instructional delivery. In this role, he is responsible for producing and leading an effective training program that meets the operational and professional development needs of Hawaiian Airlines’ more than 5,000 employees.
“Patrick has a strong background in airline employee training which is important to our growing team as we continue to add new services for guests and expand our business in domestic and international markets,” said Jan Gouveia, Hawaiian Airlines managing director, training & development.
Cournoyer started his airline career as a flight attendant for US Airways in 1999, and has 14 years of combined airline and employee training experience. Prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines, he held various airline management positions in the areas of guest experience and inflight training at Virgin America. Other previous positions include start-up team specialist at Eos Airlines, Inc. and core learning facilitator at Starbucks Coffee Co.
He is a certified aviation medical instructor as well as a licensed private pilot.
