(KAILUA-KONA) – On Saturday, Sept. 12, Carrie Kuwada Phipps, Educational Specialist with Hawai‘i Community College – Pālamanui (Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui) and the UH Center, West Hawai‘i will be at the Kailua-Kona Public Library from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. She will be presenting information on higher education opportunities at the new LEED Platinum designed campus.
Come learn about Associate degrees offered by Hawai‘i CC – Pālamanui and the more than 40 Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral degrees and post-graduate certificates offered through the UH Center, West Hawai‘i at Pālamanui. The best part of pursuing a higher education in West Hawai‘i is that you can accomplish this through distance learning. This means you can continue to live and work in West Hawai’i while you pursue your degree.
Statistics indicate that by 2020, 70 percent of jobs in Hawai‘i will require some college credentials. This makes it more important than ever to take advantage of what Hawai‘i CC -Pālamanui and the UH Center, West Hawai‘i at Pālamanui offers so close to home.
