(LĪHU‘E)- – The Department of Parks and Recreation announced that the annual Mayor’s Age Group Track Meet is scheduled next weekend at Vidinha Stadium.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, and the following day, the meet will start at 11 a.m.
Youngsters in kindergarten to fifth grade are scheduled to participate on Saturday, while students in grades six to eight will compete on Sunday.
Events will include: 50 meter and 100 meter dashes; 200 meter, 400 meter, and 800 meter runs; relays; softball throw; and standing broad jump.
Individual ribbons and medals will be awarded and a special award will be presented to the school that receives the most points.
