(Maui) – The Department of Parks and Recreation announced it will be holding Menehune Basketball tryouts for boys and girls in the 6^th through 8^th grades. A child may try out for a team that is in his or her school district or the district in which they live; only one tryout is allowed per child.

Dates, times and locations of the tryouts are as follows:

Central Maui: War Memorial Gym

Boys

Kahului/Maui Lani: Oct. 27 – 31, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.

Wailuku/Waikapu: Nov. 3 – 7, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.

Girls

Kahului/Maui Lani: Oct. 27 – 31, 5:15 – 6:45 p.m.

Wailuku/Waikapu: Nov. 3 – 7, 5:15 – 6:45 p.m.

Upcountry: Eddie Tam Gym

Boys

Nov. 3, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Nov. 4, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Nov. 5 – 7, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Girls

Oct. 27, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Oct. 28, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Oct. 29, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Oct. 30, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Nov. 3, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.

South Maui: Lokelani School Outdoor Courts

Boys

Kihei/Wailea: Oct. 27 – 31, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Girls

Kihei/Wailea: Oct. 27 – 31, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

West Maui:

Boys – Lahaina Civic Center Outdoor Dream Court

West Maui Area: Oct. 27-31, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Girls – Lahainaluna Outdoor Court

West Maui Area: Oct. 27-31, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
